Presenter: Jean Joaquim DVM, MSc, Phd

Dr Joaquim graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the São Paulo State University, UNESP, in 1999. Master’s Science in Veterinary Medicine from the São Paulo State University UNESP, 2003. Ph.D.. at São Paulo State University, UNESP, in Acupuncture and Disc Disease (2008). My field of expertise includes Integrative medicine, pain control, sport and regenerative medicine, and neurology. Complementary Education was done at the University of Vienna – Austria, at BEVAS – Belgium, and at the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center – China. He has experience in national and international lectures with an emphasis on Complementary Medicine, acting on the following topics: Acupuncture, Neurology, rehabilitation, homeopathy, and regenerative medicine in veterinary medicine. Works with research, lecture, and clinical management of animals with neurological problems, despite others. Past president of the Brazilian Veterinary Acupuncture Society (ABRAVET) 2012-2014. IVAS Boarding of Directors 2014-2016, Board of Education 2016-2022, and World Association of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine Board of Directors 2014-2017. Veterinary Acupuncture Service at Sao Paulo State University working with stem cells, neurology, rehabilitation, and pain management. Scientific Coordinator of Bioethicus Institute. Coordinator of post-graduation Neurology, Acupuncture, and Physical Therapy course at Bioethicus. International lecture experience with rehabilitation in Portugal, Venezuela, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, Germany, USA, Russia, Romania, Turkey, etc. Former and founder president of the Brazilian Veterinary Ozone Therapy Association.
