Research & Scholarship Foundation

Founded with a purpose to support research and veterinary medical education and training in pursuit of the recognition, treatment, and prevention of pain in animal species.

The IVAPM Research & Scholarship Foundation has two main objectives:

Research: To inspire young investigators and novel research projects through grants for pilot studies.

Scholarship: To identify, recognize and support students with an interest in addressing animal pain management in their studies at colleges of veterinary medicine and programs in animal health technologies.

The international board of the IVAPM Foundation works to create the infrastructure which supports these objectives. What remains is the continued need to secure the financial investments to ensure the success of these ongoing efforts.

By supporting the IVAPM Research and Scholarship Foundation you are investing in the future of our profession and ensuring that animal pain management techniques and treatments continue to evolve for the betterment of the patient.
