About Dr Zimmerman:

Melina Zimmerman, DVM, DACVAA, CVPP, CVMA, CCRP graduated from Whittier College in California with a BS in 2005.  She obtained her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 before joining Southern Arizona Specialty and Emergency Center for her internship in small animal medicine and surgery.  She completed her residency in anesthesiology and analgesia at Kansas State University and has been in private practice in New Jersey for the past 8 years.  Dr Zimmerman is a board-certified specialist in anesthesia and analgesia and has receive additional certification in pain management medical acupuncture and physical rehabilitation.  She is currently providing pain management and anesthesia consulting while working to open a stand-along pain management and physical rehabilitation hospital.
